The report presents actual information about the lime market in Russia and its state as of February 2013.

The purpose of the report is to describe the state of the Russian lime market, to present actual information about the volumes of production, exports, imports, consumption and the state of the market, the changes that took place in 2012, and also, to build a forecast for the development of the industry in the medium term until 2017.

The volume of production of lime in 2011 was 10,166 tons, surpassing 2010 by 4%. In the structure of production of lime in 2011, construction lime was 2,004 tons, while technological – 8,162 tons.
 
In January-May 2012 were produced 1,063 tons of lime, which was higher than the same period of the previous year by 20%. It is forecasted that the major participants on the lime market will 10,674 tons of production in 2012, exceeding 2011 by 5%.
