India’s massive IT giant company Wipro announced its partnership with Swedish telecoms operator Tele2 regarding the enhanced development of new telecommunications products and services for the M2M market. Earlier, in November, the company announced their plans to launch an M2M business in the global competitive market and become leaders at a higher level. Wipro’s partnership deal is one-of-the-kind in the series of M2M by Tele2 (Stockholm, Sweden) - a telecoms networks that operates in different European markets.
Both the companies say that their partnership is mainly focused on developing industry-based solutions to reduce costs and open new revenue trends for M2M customers across the world. However, following to the November deal, earlier this month, Tele2 signed up to use an M2M platform which is developed by Jasper Wireless (Mountain View, CA, USA). It enables to count the number of major leading international operators amongst each of its customers around the world.
Wipro is trying very hard to establish itself as one of the prominent and significant players in the M2M industry. And according to Rami Avidan, the head of Tele2 M2M Global Solutions plunging in for a partnership option is the perfect way to go for the M2M market.
Tele2 is arduously focusing on partnering with the Wipro [Bangalore, India] as it can now offer an end-to-end solution that will aid the customers to realize their business opportunities in an easy, flexible, and secure manner.
Back in May, it had joined hands with the US telecoms giant at Dallas, TX, USA - AT&T which again, was aimed at developing advanced M2M services for a wide array of massive IT industries. Thus, since January 2012’s conglomeration, the subsequent services are to be formulated based on the M2M application platform by Axeda - one of the partnerships of AT&T.
However, Wipro’s deal with the Tele2 is only based on the growing interest and demand of M2M services across several customers and industries throughout Europe, said Alan Atkins - the vice president and global head of M2M at Wipro. Wipro’s relationship with Tele2 is extremely beneficial for both the companies in terms of customer services, business solutions, and end-to-end M2M services.
