Superior Linen and Apparel Services, Cincinnati received certified Clean Green and Hygienically Clean by the Textile Rental Services Association, ALEXANDRIA, Va. It is now in the list of one of the 10 North American textile services companies to earn both certifications, reported TRSA.
The Clean Green certification recognizes companies for their great efforts in water and energy conservation. According to TRSA, it adheres to industry best practices for reusing, reclaiming and recycling resources.
The Hygienically Clean certification process subjects laundered textile productsto third-party, testing and quantified inspection in order to ensure they achieve TRSA’s hygiene standard.
Joseph Ricci, TRSA president and CEO congratulated Superior Linen on their attainment of this industry milestone.Superior is sustainable in nature and capable of perpetually offering high value. Hygienically Clean stated that Superior has taken the essential steps to avoid human illness in garments,laundered linen, towels and other products.
According to Ricci, a green business is beyond being environmentally friendly.Increasing efficiencies and demonstration of conservation practices are keyfactors, says TRSA. These factors only assure buyers one factor that sellers can stand long-term commitments.
Clean Green testifies all the authority to laundry activities’ resilience as textile services constantly look out for long-term service agreements and renewal contracts with customers, added Ricci.
Since it has gained a Hygienically Clean certification, textiles are properly cleaned in a laundry, meeting all the hygiene standards for medical facilities. The association is acknowledgedby the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the American National Standards Institute, among many others.
