Orange Business Services is set to create a business-class Internet service by extending its core VPN Business Service into VPN Business Internet. The move has been made to meet the increasing demand from multinational companies for a heavy-duty, high-performance, and secure access to Cloud and Web services on the Internet.
It is the cornerstone Business VPN Internet by the Hybrid Network strategy from Orange Business Services. The extension provides a set of secure Internet services that can offer a business-class performance improvement for the whole network. It could do so by reducing congestion risks on the IP Virtual Private Network, also reducing latency during Internet access and providing business-critical traffic prioritization.
Orange Business Services has already invested in 15 Internet gateways around the globe on five different continents. The gateways are distributed and will help break out the traffic closer to the user to negate latency issues created by the physical distances between the destination website, the user, and the gateway.
THE Business VPN Internet is provided as an extension of Business VPN, due to which customers can manage a reduced overhead because they will use a single provider for their Internet as well as IP VPN services. Such gateways are ready in London, New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Mumbai, San Francisco, Johannesburg, Bahrain, Tokyo, Stockholm, and Bahrain.
Each gateway will offer a virtual firewall-based security that will be designed according to a customer’s security policy. The Business VPN will also offer a standard geolocalization, which enables users in all the relevant countries to access local Internet services.
