Novel Development in Software Technology to Tighten Data Security

We are living in the era of digitalization the penetration of technology has increased to an extent that we rely on technology to perform from big to small of our day to day tasks. For instance, we use our digital technology to pay for our grocery while cameras take care of the safety of our house in our absence. Nevertheless, it is too risky to rely on technologies in the absence of a super-secure infrastructure. Data security is a prime user concern these days.

ERIM Technology Promises Robust Data Security in the System

Intending to strengthen data security of digital devices, researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems in Kaiserslautern and Saarbrücken proposed to change the existing software system architecture with the help of new technology called ERIM. The new architecture will isolate software components from each other. Thus it will be very difficult for the hackers to reach to the data heart without getting caught. This new and efficient software architecture will defiantly increase the hacker’s efforts and their chances to get caught easily.

Further, the researchers related the new architecture with forts used by kings to secure their precious items. It will have numerous security checks and data set will be separated from each other.

The proposal is an effective solution to the increasing cases of system hacking and security breaches. But despite being an effective solution to data braches having multiple security checks will increase data processing time. This will slow down the processing time of the system.
