Fans across the world will be able to buy Fitbit Ionic smart watch from before the start of the next week, the official sales day designated to be Sunday, October 1st. Priced at $299.95 in the U.S., Fitbit's latest smart watch will be available on Amazon, Dick's, Kohl's, Macy's, Best Buy, REI, Target, and Verizon, as well as on the Fitbit’s official website. The one of its kind product is already available for pre-order, with the shipments due to start next week.
Similar to Apple Watch, Fitbit Ionic smart watch is square in shape but does not have a cellular connection. The watch can record a wide variety of exercises and comes with an option that can recognize the pauses in order to provide accurate data. One of the primary feature of the Fitbit Ionic smart watch is its outstanding heart rate reader, besides its GPS tracking system.

The product also comes with Fitbit Pay, a system similar to Apple Pay or Android Pay, allowing the consumers to make payments on the go without worrying about carrying cash. In the recent times, the market for mobile payments has seen a strong surge and this particular feature is aimed by Fitbit to stay afloat in the competition. The smartwatch has bracelets that are interchangeable, between dark gray and orange. The company will also be selling leather and sports brands separately, for $60 and $30.
The official launch will also include the debut for Fitbit Flyer, a wireless headset by the company that has been priced at $130.
