Airtel’s New Move Well-received by Home Broadband Customers

Airtel’s move that will allow its broadband customers to carry forward unused monthly data balance has been well received. The unused data which is capped at 1000 GB will be added to the customer’s data balance for the next billing cycle. Customers will be able to keep track of usage and available data on MyAirtel App.

The move follows Airtel’s roll out of this feature for postpaid customers four months ago. This is part of Airtel’s new digital innovation program – ProjectNext. The program is aimed at improving customer experience across all services and touch points. Airtel has plans to invest up to Rs 2000 crores under this program spread over the next 3 years. This is in a bid to introduce several digital initiatives and to improve simplicity and enhance interactivity while serving customers.

Data Rollover to Relief Worries of Unused Data among Customers

Airtel’s constant endeavor is to offer best in class customer service experience and to offer great value to its customers. As a consequence of this move, Airtel’s home broadband customers will be relieved about their unused data, as it will available to them. As stated by an executive of CEO-Homes at Airtel, the combination of Airtel V-Fiber and data rollover offered by the company will provide a truly world class entertainment experience for digital consumers in the country. This is because home broadband continues to remain the leading channel for in-home usage of online content.

At present, Airtel Home Broadband claims itself to be the second leading home broadband provider offering services to over 2.1 million customers in India.
