There was mixed fortunes for the dairy drinks category in the final quarter. All alcoholic drinks saw reasonable growth in Q4-15 except spirits, due to the festive season.

Key Findings
All commercial beverages performed flatly during the reporting quarter due to the lack of a decent weather

Packaged water consumption levels declined in 2015 on a full year basis, driven by poor results in Q3-15 due to the below par summer weather, with July being the worst month weather-wise

The beer market ended the year positively, with the chance of more considerable growth scuppered by weaker consumption in the second and third quarters

White milk consumption was down in Q4-15, and also in 2015 overall, continuing the downward trend seen in recent years

Drinking yogurt continues to struggle against the strength of the larger fermented milk products, such as Biola
