The performance of securities industry was plain between 2011 and 2013, however, The growth in the securities sector in 2014 and 2015 has boomed. Especially, the revenue in 2015 reached RMB575.16 billion, which increased 120.97%. There were 109 securities companies in 2011; it sized up to 125 companies in 2015.
The growth in the securities sector has spurred renewed focus on fund-raising and continued business innovation. With margin financing and securities lending business reaching trillions of RMB, capital became a major area of focus for securities companies. There is an increasing number of broker IPOs and asset securitization begin to emerge as a hot topic.
