For instance, Distribusion Technologies has designed a global distribution system for intercity buses. This system connects bus operators and travel resellers. These include online travel agents, mobile applications, and other travel agencies to help users search and make bookings in the same way as flight bookings occur. 

The next one making it big in the digital world is Triptap. This is essentially an application that enables travel discovery with its carefully listed restaurants, hotels, and other tourist activities. The application maker has employed a trained team to curate the list of items and describe it to the user. This application is presently available only in Atlanta. 

Going forth, Indie Guides designed to be on-the-go city guides that are accessible on iOS and Android software. This application is an information center for underground spots, alternative entertainment, and cultural events in a city for unconventional travelers. This guide will initially be made available for Athens, Istanbul, Rotterdam, Berlin, Madrid, and Paris on February 20.

Another application likely to take the world of travel by the storm is Splitcab. This one permits users to share minicabs all the back to the airport and from the airport to their hotels. This not only helps in saving the fare, but also happens to be a great initiative at cutting down on carbon footprint.
