Multimatic Tennessee LLC, the automotive supplier from Canada, recently announced that their company is willing to invest US$20 million in their Lewisburg, Tenn facility with 181 more jobs. Multimatic Tennessee LLC is set to upgrade its automotive supplies facilities by adding new robotic welding equipment and infrastructure, which will be used for manufacturing and engineering the body parts of vehicles, such as body structure, suspension, and hardware. The automotive company is also planning to develop lightweight automotive systems to match the current automotive trends. Multimatic Tennessee LLC deals in delivering niche auto designs, production and development of applications for race vehicles and road vehicles. 

Sam Bozzo, the vice president of Multimatic Structures and Suspensions, recently stated that initially they were drawn towards Tennessee to offer support to fulfill supply and production requirements for priority customers of Multimatic. Later, Sam appreciated the support that they received from the Department of Economic and Community Development. Tennessee is the base for more than 900 auto manufacturers and suppliers. Randy Boyd, the commissioner of community and economic department of Marshall County, said that, it will be a great opportunity for the local players of automotive industry, when a global player such as Multimatic will grow its operations in the state. This will create new job opportunities in the automotive industry in regions such as Marshall County and Lewisburg. 

Multimatic, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, has its manufacturing and engineering plant in Asia, Europe, and North America. Multimatic is all set to sign partnership agreements with other key players of the automotive industry. With many new job opportunities being created by Multimatic, the automotive industry is expected to boom in coming few years. Randy Boyd, the commissioner of community and economic department of Marshall County, thanked Multimatic for creating so many job opportunities in the automotive industry.
