This is the second consecutive year, where the Locus Energy Company has been recognized as the largest and independent solar monitoring provider in the overall U.S. residential market.
Locus Energy was mentioned in a joint GTM Research and SoliChamba Consulting research report based on “Global PV Monitoring: Technologies, Markets and Leading Players, 2014-2018” that provides extensive research and data on the solar PV monitoring market. According to the report, Locus Energy is the fastest-growing independent provider in the U.S. residential PV monitoring market.
The report also discussed how in 2013, Locus Energy had doubled its fleet size in the U.S. residential segment. It had maintained the largest fleet among independent service providers. Eventually, this year also, Locus Energy has installed an extra 5,000 systems to its database, bringing its current fleet size to 35,000. This has given the company the ability to manage some of the largest performance data sets available in the U.S. solar industry. The company pulls more than 30 million data points from its systems on daily basis, with over 15 billion data points more to be collected in the overall process. It continues to pull vast amounts of historical data and real-time data to date.
Michael Herzig, the CEO of Locus Energy said that the report confirms the current status of the company and shows it as the nation’s top independent solar monitoring provider in the country. This status and recognition reflects the market\'s understanding toward our hardware and software solutions we bring to the solar industry. The CEO also added that, we provide fleet and portfolio managers with smarter data and analytics allowing them to propel efficiencies and lower O&M costs on the global front.
