After days of interpretations, the Kraft Food Group Inc. finally announced the name of its future head honcho who will be responsible for significant company operations. James Kehoe will be taking over to serve the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company. He will lead the financial operations for Kraft and will report directly to John T. Cahill, the CEO and Chairman of the conglomerate.
Kehoe comes with an extensive financial experience. He has dedicated more than twenty years of his career to play an array of roles across several functions and business operations in the company. After a brief break when he worked as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer in Gildan Activewear Inc., a Canadian company, Kehoe rejoined the Kraft Group as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President. Prior to that, Kehoe also served as the Senior Vice President in the department of Operating Excellence at Mondelez International Inc. Kehoe introduced the global transformation program in the company through which he spearheaded successful cost savings initiatives for the company.
On the occasion of Kehoe formally taking over the responsibility, Cahill said that Kraft was glad to have James Kehoe back on board. He further mentioned that It was rather easy to decide on his name, since Kehoe has worked with the company for two long decades across numerous verticals. James Kehoe, according to Cahill, practically knows the company inside out and has firsthand experience of running a range of corporate operations for the company. Therefore, he and Kraft’s family has immense faith and confidence on Kehoe and they expect that with Kehoe on board the company can accelerate their functioning in order to pace up with the changes incumbent in the market.
