Thomas Sigi, Audi’s Board of Management Member for Human Resources announced that AUDI AG has set another record by delivering 1.74 million cars in the year 2014 to its customers. He further added that the success credit goes to the committed and hard-working employees. The creative ideas given by employees have played a huge part in setting the record in the economically challenged year. The company believes that with this level of commitment, the employees are also entitled to share the profits earned. 

Chairman of the General Works Council, Peter Mosch also gave credit to the employees who helped in writing the success stories, owing to which the company should be fair with employees and allow them to share financially as well. 

The employees who are paid according to the agreement of collective bargaining are allowed to receive an average of €6,540 from the Audi profit-sharing bonus. The number of employees eligible to receive the profit has increased by 4000. Due to which the amount is lowered than in the previous year which was €6,900; while the operating profit is only slightly higher than in 2013. 

This year as well, the company will use some portion of the profit earned to increase the company pension percentage, with which the employees can additionally provide for their future retirement.
