Brakes are undergoing a change in its manufacturing process. It is in the process of changing all its white cardboard packaging to the unbleached brown packaging so as to contribute healthily to the environment and sustain it. The unbleached natural cardboard is good for use as it decreases the overall environmental impact of Brakes packaging and removes the bleaching stage during the manufacturing process.
The new packaging of the brakes will have a pictured displayed on it for a quick and easy look or identification.
The Brakes’ Environment and Sustainability Manager, Ken Mullholland said, the change from the traditional packaging to the new packaging is a good decision for the company as they are even trying to make the supply chain process easier and more sustainable for the customers. The change has also shown good effects to the CSER objectives without any major reduction in the quality of packaging.
