Amazon announced its plans to launch a new communication service. The new messaging application, Anytime, will be designed for end consumers. The rumor has it that it will be all-encompassing solution for communicating as it will allow users to communicate via video chats and text messages. To understand key features of this service, Amazon has been surveying its consumers to get a better idea of their needs and the things that matter the most of them. This service is expected to keep the chats exceptionally private and most importantly, encrypt the messages.

Anytime to Offer More than Existing Chatting Applications

The end users will be able to connect with their friends through simple searches, without the hassle of saving numbers. In addition to chatting over text messages, users will also be able to make voice and video calls. The application will be available across all platforms, which includes desktops and mobiles that operate on both Androids and iOS. To enable faster photo sharing, Amazon has included a “@mentions” feature.

The new messaging service will allow users to play games with their friends by forming groups on the virtual platform. GIFs, emojis, stickers, customization options, and filters will also be added to this application. Furthermore, Anytime will also collaborate with businesses to allow its users access to them for making quick reservations, shopping, and changing orders among other possibilities. However, nothing has been revealed about its launch date yet.
